Ohh Look is an online service directory where customers search for, rate, and hire local professionals. From haircuts to home repairs, we offer over 60 categories to help Southern California customers find trusted help.
How do I offer my services on Ohh Look?
Visit www.ohhlook.com and select the Join as a Pro button to create your business account.
Does Ohh Look charge a percentage of my service?
Ohh Look does not charge commissions or lead fees for services you provide.
What is the cost of advertising my service on Ohh Look?
Ohh Look currently offers a Free membership and upgraded Premium plans. Visit the Join as a Pro page to view the details of each membership option.
Do I need to be licensed or bonded to be a provider?
It is not required to be licensed or bonded to advertise your services on the Ohh Look Platform. Ohh Look requires that you comply with local laws and regulations relating to licensing and other business requirements as stipulations vary widely depending on the locality. Any specific licensing must be current to be published in your profile.
Do I need to complete a background check?
Although Ohh Look does not require all service providers to undergo a background check, it is highly encouraged. Completing a background check can enhance a profile's credibility and provide peace of mind to potential customers. Providers who have completed a background check will display a 'Verified' status on their profile.
How do I complete a background check?
After you select the Premium Membership plan, you will receive an email from BackgroundChecks.com, a third party provider, prompting you to complete your confidential background check. Once approved, your profile will automatically display a 'Verified' status.
What is the cost of the background check?
The background check is included at no extra cost with the $59/year Premium and $89/year Premium + plans.
How long will it take to receive my results?
Background checks are part of the review process and can take up to 48 hours to complete.
Will my background check show as an inquiry on my credit report?
The background check will not appear as a credit inquiry, and your credit history or score will not be considered.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Your recurring membership is scheduled to renew on your subscription date. Should you choose to cancel your membership, please email support@ohhlook.com.
How do I receive payment from customers?
Payments are arranged directly between you and your customer. To ensure a smooth experience, we encourage providers to clearly communicate pricing and accepted payment options in advance.
Will I receive a 1099 from Ohh Look?
Service providers on Ohh Look are independent contractors who operate as their own business owners, not as Ohh Look employees. Since Ohh Look does not charge commissions or collect fees for services rendered, it does not issue 1099 forms.
How old do I have to be to use the platform as a service provider?
All Ohh Look users must be at least 18 years of age to use the platform.
