Reviews for Coastal Kasa

I rarely write reviews, but our experience with Coastal Kasa—Monica, Brian, Samuel, and the larger team—motivated me to share our positive experience. This team not only brings a high level of expertise but also a genuine sense of humanity, empathy, and love for their craft. We were referred to Monica and her team by a friend and neighbor who has been a repeat customer. From our first contact with Monica, she was incredibly responsive, setting up a time to visit our home and assess the work. She took the time to listen to our needs and preferences, particularly regarding the level of collaboration and communication we desired. After our initial meeting, Monica promptly followed up with a contract, which we were able to review and discuss in detail. She was very receptive to feedback and executed every element of the contract with precision. The cost was very, very fair! As the work began, we stayed in regular contact, receiving daily updates on progress and discussing key decisions. One standout aspect of our experience was Monica’s expertise and passion for paint and color. We met several times to discuss color schemes, and she was always patient, invested, and dedicated to ensuring we would be happy with our choices. The team that pressure-washed, scraped, and prepared the exterior of our house for painting was equally thoughtful and responsive to our needs. Their attention to detail was exceptional. We are thrilled with the outcome and especially proud to recommend a woman-owned business in this sector.

We LOVED working with Coastal Kasa! Monica, Walter, and their entire team were incredible. Hire them if you want a crew that has unparalleled quality and attention to detail. Background: We moved from LA and found that in San Diego it was much harder to find painters that either would, or had experience working with, specialty finishes (lime wash, Roman clay, wood stains, etc). Coastal Kasa was familiar with Portola Paints and made recommendations for when to use Roman clay versus lime wash for our various jobs. They also troubleshooted our ceiling beams that were reading super red, and came up with a solution to make sure we got the exact finish we wanted. Once the job was done, they were meticulous about their clean up and putting all of our furniture back. We were so happy to work with Coastal Kasa. They cared as much about the details and final outcome as we did. And it was wonderful having their crew at our house! Great people, great outcomes. Thank you!!!

Working with Monica was a delight. She is professional, efficient and her crew was excellent . The painters did an excellent job at our condo. Monica was extremely helpful in helping select colors and quartz countertop material for the kitchen. Since the initial project. I have used Monica to recommend paint colors for a bathroom and bedroom remodel at our primary residence in Orange county. Could not be happier!
