5 stars + in every way!!! We celebrated my husband's retirement with a 5 course dinner party for a small group of friends at our Airbnb in Encinitas. Jason created a fabulous and delightful event, all of our guests raved about the experience. All the planning was done from my home on the east coast--Jason couldn't have made it any easier, with his responsive communication and great menu ideas. He created a fantastic menu, which was only surpassed by the beautiful presentation and delicious food. Everything was amazing--especially The Mexican White Shrimp "Gambas Al Ajillo" and the Maple Pecan Bread Pudding, both were off the charts. Portions were generous and leftovers were meticulously stored to enjoy later! Clean-up was impeccable. I couldn't recommend Flavor Affinity any more enthusiastically, Thanks Jason!

Katy O.August 2026 Kelly C.August 2026 Booked Jason this past weekend for a private catering super last minute. He was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process since I really didn't have a set direction in mind. We only had a few days to prepared for a group of 30+ but he made the experience very easy on my end. We worked together to come up with a menu suitable for buffet style dining. He was communicative and helped take the stress off me planning for a big group with such short notice! As you can see I was so busy day of worrying about our party that I didn't even get photos except 1 starter but it was delicious!
Brooke B.August 2026 I planned a surprise Birthday on our friends boat with around 20 people. Jason helped guide me through the process of making sure this went seamless. He was presented with an extremely tight cooking space and was amazing with all of our crazy friends! Everyone raved about the food and how amazing it was! This is the second time I have eaten his food and would hire him again in a second! We had a grilled peach flat bread for our first course, mahi and prime rib for our main course and an amazing chocolate cheesecake for dessert. I highly recommend Jason's services and I personally will be using him again in the future, I can't wait until next time!
