  giuditta's strength and loving conviction that 'all shall be well' was an absolute pillar in our experience of bringing our daughter forth. we experienced an unique amount of losses prior to this pregnancy, which on its own lent a tenderness to this one, replete with every emotion between faith and fear. we were also casualties of the LA fires 7 months prior, unanchored in a rental and without the home we so carefully constructed to house our children. to layer in a bit more, I had lost my own beloved mother during this time. giuditta took all of this sensitivity into account and held my fears and sadness and joy with so much love and clarity, her maternal energy reminding me that all was absolutely fine, our daughter is/will be absolutely perfect, and the birth would unfold just as it was meant to. sometimes you need to hear that more than not. giuditta also had the respect of every nurse, midwife, and doctor at cedars that assisted in our birth, and ran that room like a real italian -- with clarity, stellar communication, and a beautiful humor. she held me like a mother in my most vulnerable moments, and told me that I was amazing when I needed to hear it the most. honestly, I (we) are indebted. bringing giuditta in on our child birthing journey was the best decision we made. so grateful.

  Oh, where do I even begin to express the profound gratitude we have for Giuditta? She was nothing short of AMAZING throughout our entire pregnancy journey, and her support during labor, delivery, and postpartum was an absolute gift. Not only did she provide incredible hands-on support, but she also armed us with invaluable resources and information, empowering us to feel truly prepared for labor and delivery. During those long and challenging hours in the delivery room, Giuditta was my steadfast advocate, ensuring I was always treated fairly and that we fully grasped all the complex medical information. My labor and delivery was far from easy, demanding days of endurance, but her tireless support gave my husband and me the strength to push through. It’s so clear she pours her heart and soul into her work and deeply cherishes the families she supports. We truly feel incredibly lucky to have had her, and anyone who chooses Giuditta as their doula will be in the most wonderful hands!

  As first-time parents, Giuditta was extremely helpful in guiding us through the birthing process from beginning to end. She met with us twice before birth and helped us understand what to expect and provided us with positions, tips, and tools for each stage of labor. The second meeting we discussed our birth plan, walked us through a few different scenarios we could expect going into labor and our options, and looked through all of our baby supplies to ensure we had the essentials ready. Her many years of experience means she has a wealth of knowledge that would be impossible to learn on your own. Unfortunately, Giuditta got sick right before we gave birth so she was not with us during labor but she was messaging with us in the lead up and sent a fantastic substitute in her place. Her substitue was a beacon of light and helped tremendously while my wife was in labor. Giuditta was even more helpful after birth. As a lactation consultant, she walked my wife through a variety of breastfeeding positions and provided additional suggestions and insights. She also showed us how to care for our baby, including how to bathe and play with our little one and provided recommendations for helping our baby figure out day from night. We are extremely grateful for Guiditta and couldn’t recommend her enough.
