Orange County Dog Barber

Lyndsey Smith is the President and Founder of The Orange County Dog Barber, bringing over 12 years of professional dog grooming experience and a distinctive background in animal behavior to a brand built on craftsmanship and individuality. Before transitioning into dog grooming, Lyndsey worked as a human hairstylist, developing an expert eye for precision, structure, and style. That foundation—paired with a deep understanding of canine behavior—shaped a grooming philosophy that balances technical skill with patience, respect, and personalized care. Prior to opening The Orange County Dog Barber in July 2023, Lyndsey worked alongside some of the most respected dog groomers in the industry, refining advanced techniques and raising the bar for quality and professionalism. When it came time to open her own shop, Lyndsey rejected the traditional grooming salon aesthetic in favor of something bolder and more intentional. Inspired by vintage barbershops, tattoo studios, and motorcycle culture, The Orange County Dog Barber offers a clean, confident, and unapologetically different environment—designed for clients who value authenticity, expert grooming, and a shop that treats dogs as individuals, not trends.
